Another Cambridge-Isanti High School grad is set to don the Orange in 2022-23 after head coach Don Babineau announced the signing of Andrew Aljets. The three-year varsity blueliner put up 14 points last season for the Bluejackets in 27 games.

"We are pleased to announce the signing of Andrew Aljet," said Babineau. "A hometown kid who definitely has the itch to continue his hockey here. After coming just a game from reaching the state tournament this past season he feels he has some unfinished business."

Andrew served as a captain along with earning Mississippi Eight All-Conference in 2021-22.

"I'm excited to come back and play for my hometown and all the people that have supported me along the way," said Ajerts. "Can't wait for what the season holds with the group we have thus far."

"Andrew attended the past two showcases and Immediately caught our staff's attention," continued Babineau. "He is an excellent skater and plays a very physical game, One parent said it best this past weekend: 'he has a fun game.' Once you see him in action you will immediately understand that comment."
