Head Coach Don Babineau is pleased to announce the re-signing of forward Tyler Schmitt

"It's great to have Tyler commit for the upcoming season," said Babineau. "He is a very skilled forward that plays a 200 foot game. He has a year of juniors under his belt which was a success with pretty good numbers. In the last four years of high school and last year he has 63 goals and 130 assists. The kid can put up numbers. He will be one of our captains and will be determined to do whatever it takes to get an opportunity at the next level. We look for Tyler to do big things this season."

Schmitt is coming off an impressive rookie season when he scored 12 goals and 25 assists in 41 USPHL games.

"I'm excited to be coming back to Isanti," commented Schmitt. "The atmosphere at our home games is amazing. A very supportive town when it comes to hockey. I always felt at home in Isanti. I look forward to the new changes and the direction we are headed. I feel this is the season to make some noise and turn some heads. Can't wait to get back to work and be around the guys again. We are definitely on a mission this year."
